Lioton 30g

Lioton (often sold as Lioton 1000) is a topical gel used to treat conditions related to poor circulation, bruising, and minor vein inflammation.

What it is

• Active ingredient: Heparin (usually 1000 IU/g)
• Form: clear gel applied to the skin
• Type: anticoagulant / anti-inflammatory (topical)

What it’s used for

Lioton is commonly used to relieve:

• Swelling after injuries
• Superficial thrombophlebitis (inflammation of small veins)

It helps reduce swelling and improves blood flow in the affected area.

How it works

Heparin prevents small blood clots from forming and helps break down existing ones near the skin surface, which:

• Speeds up bruise healing
• Reduces inflammation
• Improves circulation in superficial veins

How to use it

• Apply a thin layer to the affected area
• Gently massage until absorbed
• Usually 1–3 times daily (follow package or doctor instructions)
• Do not apply to open wounds or broken skin
