What is microneedling?
Microneedling is known as Collagen Induction Therapy. On its own it stimulates new collagen and elastin in the skin. It is a great option for everything from acne scaring and skin texture to general skin maintenance. When hyaluronic acid is used it can provide hydrating and plumping benefits.

Does microneedling hurt?
A numbing cream is applied before the procedure, so the treatment is virtually painless. You may experience slight tightness and discomfort accompanied by dryness for 24-48 hours after your treatment, this is all completely normal it is your skin healing and producing new skin cells and collagen.
If you opt for PRP Microneedling a Licensed Trust Skin Specialist will take your blood sample and then use a spinning tool called a centrifuge to seperate the PRP from the rest of the blood. This will then be used in your treatment.
When will I see results?
Your skin will become more plump and smooth immediately. Results will continue to improve over the following three weeks. Best results are provided to those who can commit to 3-4 consecutive treatments performed monthly over 3-4 months.
When can I return to my normal activities?

The skin will be red post-treatment for approximately 48 hours. The surface will need to be protected with sunscreen for a minimum of 2 weeks following. It is crucial you protect the surface of your skin with SPF for a minimum of 2 weeks following your treatment.
